mobile.de was founded in 1996 and is aimed at private customers and commercial users, in particular retailers. In addition to the strong focus on cars, owners can also sell their trucks via mobile.de. If you advertise once, the costs for the standard rate are 29.90€ for premium 39.90€. Only with Premium will you end up on the first page. As you age, the display slides further back. Mainly retailers buy on mobile.de. Unfortunately, phishing attempts have been made more and more recently. It is not recommended to give out your own telephone number. Another shortcoming is the lack of translation of the vehicle details. Language barriers often arise, especially when the vehicle goes abroad due to age or mileage.
Autoline has been on the market since 2001 and works in a similar way to mobile.de. However, the focus here is less on cars, but on trucks and construction machinery. Autoline appeals in particular to retailers. If you want to display more than just one standard ad, you have to switch to a Pro account. The costs for this are very opaque and not publicly available. One advantage over mobile.de is the translation of vehicle information. However, this is only available for standard parameters and is particularly inadequate for trucks and commercial vehicles. The language barrier remains.
Truckscout24 was founded in 1998 by the publicly traded company Scout24. Since 2019, the site has been owned by Machineseeker Group. Compared to the portals described above, there are no significant differences when it comes to TruckScout 24 as a truck sales portal. In terms of price, however, it is higher than what mobile de estimates. Here, the ad costs 29.00€ net per vehicle and month. When selling more vehicles, it is necessary to switch to the dealer pricing model. When selling trucks, you should also make sure that the ad is automatically extended by every month, unless you have deactivated it.
Most people know eBay classifieds from a private context. But trucks can also be advertised here. However, thanks to the cooperation with mobile de, your own vehicle can sink quickly. However, selling on eBay doesn't cost anything.
